Free shuttle buses:The city government establishes free shuttle buses. The buses start form the Tauyuan city hall and radiated distribute to several location in Taoyuan city. The running interval is 10-20 minutes.


Taxes and tips

In Taiwan, taxes are included in the selling price and it is not necessary to pay extra. The stores will give united receipts after your buying.
In Taiwan there is no habitant of tips. But consuming in hotel and restaurants, 10% service fee will be charged usually.


Telephone

Public telephones are either coin-operated or cardoperated. All local and domestic long-distance calls are timed. The basic charge for a local call is NT$1.
Telephone cards can be purchased at all convenience stores and from Chunghwa Telecom offices.

Taiwan's international country code is +886 and the outgoing code is 002 followed by the relevant country code (e.g. 00244 for the UK). City/area codes are in use, e.g. (0)2 for Taipei. Six network operators provide mobile telephone services in various regions using either GSM 900 or1800 networks. Internet cafes can be found in Taiwan's cities and towns, and most hotels in Taipei have Internet access in their bedrooms.
